The Canadian EPR Forum took place at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Québec City, Canada, a short taxi ride from Jean Lesage International Airport and walking distance from Gare du Palais train station. Featuring world-class amenities, this eco-certified, historic hotel is located within the walls of Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the ideal location to discover Québec City.
The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac does not offer a hotel shuttle, so please plan your own transportation to and from the hotel. Taxis and rideshares (Uber) are the easiest options — and we encourage delegates to share a ride with fellow attendees whenever possible. It’s a simple way to cut down on emissions and split the cost.
From the Via Rail / Bus Station (Gare du Palais): The hotel is only a short 10-minute taxi ride away. Since it’s so close, it’s also an easy, walkable distance for those travelling light — ask at the station for the best route through Old Québec.
From Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB): Plan for about a 30-minute taxi ride to the hotel. Taxis and rideshares are available at the arrivals area — look out for fellow delegates on your flight and split a ride. Public transit is also an option: RTC bus routes 76 or 80 connect the airport to downtown (with a transfer to Route 800/805/807), though this takes considerably longer than a taxi and isn’t recommended if you’re travelling with luggage.
