CPSC AGM and 2026–27 Board of Directors Announcement

The Canadian EPR Forum is presented by the Canadian Product Stewardship Council (CPSC), a not-for-profit organization established by leaders in Canada’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) community to advance dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across the sector.

CPSC held its Annual General Meeting last month, where the 2026–27 Board of Directors was confirmed. The Board includes a combination of returning members and newly appointed directors, bringing both continuity and fresh perspectives to the organization’s leadership:

  • David Lawes, Interchange Recycling (Co-Chair)
  • Rachel Morier, The Beer Store (Co-Chair)
  • Maylia Parker, Electronic Products Recycling Association (Treasurer)
  • Philippe Cantin, Éco Entreprises Québec
  • Meagan Hatch, Electronics Product Stewardship Canada
  • Lori Koebel, Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation
  • Allen Langdon, Circular Materials
  • Kim Timmer, Cleanfarms

Sarah Cotton-Elliott continues in her role as President of CPSC.

CPSC extends its deepest gratitude to outgoing Chair Barry Freisen and Treasurer Guy West for their many years of dedicated service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the organization. Throughout their tenure, both Barry and Guy have played instrumental roles in shaping the direction of CPSC, fostering collaboration across the EPR community, and strengthening the organization’s reputation both in Canada and internationally. Their thoughtful guidance, steady leadership, and passion for advancing Extended Producer Responsibility have left a lasting and meaningful legacy. They will be greatly missed at the Board table, and we sincerely thank them for the significant and enduring contributions they have made to the sector.
